When one says “catering” what do you think of? Well, for New Yorker Bryan Goodwin, the artist and entrepreneur behind Goodwin’s, a company dedicated to catering services, the word “innovation” comes to mind.
He is the third generation of his family to operate a food business in New York. Following in the footsteps of his grandmother Melanie, a chef and restaurateur; his grandfather Felipe and his father and mentor George, who for nearly a quarter-century ran the renowned Casa Italia Cesa on Lexington Avenue. Bryan brings his fine arts training and family history in food to lead Goodwin’s team of culinary artisans and service professionals.
Goodwin’s success, as Bryan put it, is derived from “balancing tradition and innovation.” As he finely puts, tradition grounds us and ties us to our immediate past while innovation carries the present forward into the future.
For over 25 years, Goodwin’s passion and professionalism has assured high praise. Guests are transported by the stunning settings and feats of mouth popping flavors. Bryan says he goes above and beyond to ensure that his clients’ tastes are satisfied. With clients from the NY Yankees, the Mayor, to local celebrities, it’s easy to see why Bryan has gained the recognition throughout the East Coast as the caterer’s cater.
